Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Doctor’s Prescription Maker handles information when you use the app and its related services.
Effective date: October 22, 2026
1. Scope
Doctor’s Prescription Maker (the “App”) is a tool intended to help healthcare professionals create and manage patient information and prescriptions. This Policy applies to information handled through the App and its related services.
The App is a record-creation and management tool. It does not replace professional medical judgment, and users are responsible for ensuring that information they enter and prescriptions they issue are accurate and lawful.
2. Information we handle
Depending on the features you use and the information you choose to provide, the App may handle the following categories:
Account and authentication information
- Email address and authentication identifiers used to create, secure, and maintain your account.
- Sign-in and account status, including email-verification status where applicable.
- Information you provide for your professional profile, such as your name, age, phone number, profession, and clinic details.
Patient and prescription information
- Patient details you enter, such as names, contact details, age, and other fields made available in the App.
- Prescription content, including medicines, dosage instructions, clinical notes, dates, and related records you create.
- Clinic and professional information included in generated prescriptions or exported documents.
Patient information may be sensitive personal or health information. Enter only information you are authorized to collect and process, and follow the laws and professional rules that apply to you.
Technical and service information
The App’s infrastructure or third-party services may process technical information needed for authentication, security, billing, reliability, and troubleshooting, such as service logs, app/device information, transaction identifiers, and diagnostic data. The exact data depends on the services and SDKs enabled in the published version.
Backup information
If you use backup or restore features, information selected for backup may be transferred to the connected backup service. The exact contents depend on the App’s backup implementation and your choices.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Create and authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, and maintain account sessions.
- Save and retrieve doctor profiles, clinic details, patient records, and prescriptions.
- Generate, display, and export prescription documents when those features are available.
- Provide backup, restore, and cross-device recovery features when enabled and authorized by you.
- Manage subscriptions, verify premium entitlements, and apply applicable feature limits.
- Protect the App, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, and maintain service reliability.
- Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use patient or prescription information for advertising purposes unless this Policy is specifically updated to disclose such use and it is lawful. Confirm this statement against all SDKs and data flows before publishing.
4. Storage and security
Account and app data may be stored or processed by the App’s configured backend and cloud service providers. For example, if Firebase services are enabled, Firebase Authentication may manage sign-in and Firestore may store records associated with an account.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the App, which may include authenticated access, account-based data separation, and secure communication. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting their devices and account credentials, signing out of shared devices, and granting access only to people who are authorized to view the information.
6. Google Drive backup and restore
If Google Drive backup is available in your version of the App, you may be able to connect a Google account and back up or restore supported app data. Drive access is used to provide the backup feature you choose and should be limited to the permissions requested by the App.
- Backup may be manual or automatic according to the settings available in the App.
- Restore may replace or merge data depending on the specific restore behavior shown in the App. Review any confirmation screen before proceeding.
- You can disconnect or revoke the App’s Google access through your Google Account settings. Revoking access may prevent future backups or restores.
- Removing a backup from the App does not necessarily delete other copies that you have stored or downloaded elsewhere.
Only back up records you are authorized to store. If backups contain patient information, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable privacy, confidentiality, and healthcare requirements.
Publisher note: describe the actual backup contents, Drive permissions/scopes, encryption approach (if any), and deletion behavior here before publishing.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
If the App offers paid features, purchases may be processed through Google Play. The App may receive purchase tokens, product identifiers, transaction status, and related information needed to validate purchases and manage access to premium features. Full payment-card details are generally handled by the payment provider rather than by the App.
Subscription prices, billing periods, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are presented through Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s applicable terms. You can manage eligible subscriptions through your Google Play account.
8. Retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the App’s features, maintain account records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods can vary by data type and service provider.
You should be able to request account or data deletion using the contact details below. Before publishing, provide a working in-app deletion flow or a clear web-based deletion-request process where required by applicable law or Google Play policy.
Deleting an account from one service may not automatically delete separate copies in a connected Google Drive backup, exported files, or data retained by third-party providers under their own policies. Explain the actual deletion steps and timelines here.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can control information you enter, manage your Google account permissions, manage subscriptions through Google Play, and contact us to submit a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If you use the App to store patient information, you are responsible for honoring patients’ applicable privacy rights and requests where the law places those responsibilities on you.
10. Children’s privacy
The App is designed for professional use and is not intended to be used as a consumer service by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through an account-registration flow. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the matter.
11. Medical and professional use
The App helps users prepare and manage records; it does not independently confirm a diagnosis, determine whether a medicine or dosage is appropriate, or replace a qualified healthcare professional’s judgment. Healthcare professionals must review all patient details and prescription content before issuing or sharing it.
Do not use the App to store or share information unless you have the necessary authority, consent, and safeguards required by applicable law and professional obligations.
12. Policy changes
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the App, services, or legal requirements. When changes are made, the “Effective date” at the top will be updated. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or seek consent.
